When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
As a maternity photographer in Las Vegas, I like to schedule maternity sessions at 28 – 32 weeks. This is because you’ll be nice and rounded out, creating a perfect window to shoot photos.
At this time, a mom-to-be is also comfortable and can walk around, sit or stand for different shots. I recommend scheduling a session at least a week or two in advance to secure a spot. Better safe than sorry.
What to wear for the maternity session?
For the photography session, I advise a mom to have her hair and makeup done to make her feel her best throughout the session. I encourage bringing favorite outfits such as long fitted dresses to display the ample belly.
